{"id":810,"date":"2020-02-03T10:11:36","date_gmt":"2020-02-03T09:11:36","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/dmc.pwr.edu.pl\/?page_id=810"},"modified":"2020-02-03T10:55:56","modified_gmt":"2020-02-03T09:55:56","slug":"internships","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/dmc.pwr.edu.pl\/index.php\/internships\/","title":{"rendered":"Internships"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"has-large-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">Internship for students (InAquaCity)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Duration of internship:<\/strong> March &#8211; September 2020.<br><strong>A number of positions:<\/strong> Up to 2.<br><strong>Expected commitment:<\/strong> Up to 8 hours per week.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Expected skills and interests:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>First-degree (Bachelor) studies (preferably Faculty of Geoengineering, Mining, and Geology or Faculty of Environmental Engineering);<\/li><li>Ability to work independently and analyze interdisciplinary sources of knowledge;<\/li><li>Basic knowledge in the field of hydrogeology, hydrology, water management;<\/li><li>Fluency in English (B2 level);<\/li><li>Creativity and curiosity, willingness for self-development, openness to new experiences and willingness to acquire new knowledge and skills;<\/li><li>Ability to complete tasks on time;<\/li><li>Interest in sustainable development goals and water resource depletion issues due to climate change;<\/li><li>Willingness for scientific development and continuation of the chosen path at master&#8217;s studies.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>We offer:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Cooperation in the project with practical application in the economy (more information <a href=\"https:\/\/wca.wroc.pl\/dr-magdalena-worsa-kozak-biuro-urbanistyczne-ecoland-marek-wilandinaquacity-niebieska-infrastruktura-dla-preznego-miasta-stworzenie-oraz-wdrozenie-innowacyjnej-procedury-opracowywania-dokumentow-plani\">here<\/a>);<\/li><li>Possibility of realization an engineering\/master thesis in the subject of the project;<\/li><li>Participation in preparation of scientific reports and publications;<\/li><li>Acquiring new interdisciplinary knowledge that can be used in practice;<\/li><li>Certificate of the internship in the project and a recommendation letter;<\/li><li>The opportunity to join other projects, including international ones, conducted by DMC team;<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>How to apply:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p align=\"justify\">Applications should be sent by email until February 17, 2020. to dr Magdalena Worsy-Kozak (magdalena.worsa-kozak@pwr.edu.pl), in the title of the email stating: &#8220;InAquaCity &#8211; praktyka&#8221;.
