The second edition of the international workshop GEOBENCH<\/strong><\/a>: Evaluation and BENCH<\/strong>marking of Sensors, Systems and GEO<\/strong>spatial Data in Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing took place at the AGH University of Science and Technology in Krakow on October 23-24. The GEOBENCH workshop focuses on topics in photogrammetry and remote sensing together with the evaluation of algorithms and sensors in this sector.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

The DMC research team<\/strong><\/a> from WUST, together with representatives of 3DOM<\/a><\/strong> <\/a>unit<\/a> <\/strong>from FBK, presented the handheld mobile mapping system PoLiMap<\/strong>, which was developed for the VOT3D project. In addition to the presentation given<\/strong>, there was also a demo session<\/strong>, during which representatives of DMC and 3DOM explained the technical details of the system\u2019s operation.<\/p>\n

The developed PoLiMap solution will enable the acquisition of accurate and precise 3D data from underground mines. The obtained point clouds will be used to develop a comprehensive system with modules dedicated to processing this data and performing airflow analyses. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
