Final MOIRA Project Workshop at Safran Tech – A Memorable Conclusion to a Great Collaboration

From February 18–20, 2025, we had the pleasure of attending the final Technical and Industrial Workshop of the #MOIRA project at Safran Tech, held under the Horizon 2020 European Training Network.

Over the course of three inspiring days, we connected with industrial and academic partners from across Europe to exchange ideas and advancements in predictive maintenance, signal processing, and artificial intelligence. A heartfelt thank you to Safran Aircraft Engines, our European partner organizations, and everyone who contributed to the engaging discussions. This event marked not just the end of a collaborative chapter but also a moment to reflect on the achievements we’ve made together, strengthen professional ties, and look ahead to future innovation in the field.

Celebrating Our PhD Graduates – A Proud Moment at Wrocław University of Science and Technology

On April 5th, the PhD Graduation Ceremony took place in Building A1 of Wrocław University of Science and Technology. This year, we proudly celebrated the graduation of two of our colleagues: Hamid Shiri and Mohammad Siami, who successfully completed their PhDs last year.

It was a wonderful ceremony filled with pride and joy. Hamid and Mohammad had the honour of receiving their diplomas from the Rector in the presence of their supervisors, making it an unforgettable milestone in their academic journey.

A heartfelt thank you to Professor Radosław Zimroz and Professor Agnieszka Wylomanska for attending the ceremony, not only as supervisors, but also in their esteemed roles, including Dean of the Faculty of Geoengineering, Mining and Geology.

Let’s all extend our warmest congratulations to Hamid and Mohammad and wish them continued success in their future careers. And of course, fingers crossed for our current PhD students as they continue on their paths toward graduation!

DMC at 51st Ogólnopolskie Sympozjum Diagnostyka Maszyn in Wisła

From March 4–5, 2025, we had the pleasure of participating in the 51st Ogólnopolskie Sympozjum Diagnostyka Maszyn in the beautiful and peaceful city of Wisła, nestled in the heart of the mountains.

Over two inspiring days, we connected with academic and industrial partners, as well as old and new friends, from across Poland to share knowledge and perspectives on predictive maintenance, signal processing, and artificial intelligence.

Our group proudly presented four posters during the poster session, showcasing the cutting-edge work being done at the DMC Lab. It was a fantastic opportunity to spark meaningful discussions, exchange expertise, and explore new collaborations.

Beyond the technical sessions, it was also a moment to reconnect with colleagues, form new friendships, and enjoy the serene mountain atmosphere that made this symposium truly special.
