We are thrilled to announce our recent collaboration with Moira Industrial Events and amc VIBRO to host the highly successful Moira Training Network. Held in the vibrant city of Wroclaw, this extraordinary event brought together a remarkable group of talented young researchers from renowned universities, institutes, and industries worldwide.
Our distinguished participants hailed from prestigious institutions such as the University of Oxford (UK), KU Leuven (Belgium), Lulea University of Technology (Sweden), Cranfield University (UK), University of Modena and Reggio Emilia (Italy), Institut National des Sciences Appliquées de Lyon (France), Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft Zur Foerderung Der Angewandten Forschung (Germany), IKERLAN (Spain), SIEMENS Industry Software (Belgium), SAFRAN SA (France), and many more.
Over the course of four engaging days, we curated a diverse range of activities aligned with the goals of the MOIRA projects. Attendees had the privilege of gaining insights from industry experts who shared their knowledge on monitoring large-scale infrastructures:
- [Prof. Tomasz Barszcz/Prof. Adam Jablonski | AMC VIBRO]: Delving into sensors, measurements, monitoring systems, and data analysis for industrial applications.
- [Bram Cornelis | Siemens]: Unveiling end-of-line testing and structural health monitoring activities at Siemens Industry Software.
- [Prof. Mohamad El Badaui | Safran]: A captivating company presentation, offering a glimpse into Safran’s innovative practices.
- [Dr. Yosra Marnissi | Safran]: Exploring the realm of health monitoring for aeronautical equipment, specifically bearings and gears.
Additionally, esteemed academic experts captivated the audience with discussions on cutting-edge topics in signal processing and condition monitoring!!!:
- [Prof. Radosław Zimroz]: Shedding light on monitoring large-scale complex systems, with a particular focus on the mining industry’s perspective—ranging from local measurements and online monitoring systems to mobile inspection robots.
- [Prof. Agnieszka Wyłomańska/Wojciech Żuławiński]: Unveiling the significance of cyclostationarity in non-Gaussian environments.
- [Prof. Rafał Zdunek/Mateusz Gabor]: Exploring advanced signal processing techniques utilizing NMF/NTF.
- [Dr. Jacek Wodecki]: Discussing local damage detection and filtering optimization through GA.
- [Dr. Justyna Hebda-Sobkowicz]: Highlighting local damage detection in the presence of non-Gaussian noise.
- [Dr. Pavlo Krot]: Showcasing the role of dynamical models in diagnostics of industrial machines.
