On November 25-26, the scientific and technical conference was held at the Wrocław University of Science and Technology. The main topic of the conference was „Traditions and innovations in the mining industry. GEO-3EM project for the industry – effects and inspirations”.
Over 100 guests, including mining industry management members from KGHM Polska Miedź S.A., PGE Górnictwo i Energetyka Konwencjonalna S.A., and companies related to the mining industry, had the opportunity to take part in this event. The event was also connected with the celebrations of the Feast of Saint Barbara, the patron of miners.
The conference was divided into four sessions. Topics that were mentioned during the conference included: „Supporting exploitation systems” and „Geology, raw materials, and resources”.
During the conference, the DMC team gave a presentation „Innovative technologies in the exploitation of critical and strategic raw materials – projects co-financed by EIT Raw Materials”.
