On February 4
-5 we have launched the MEITIM – Master in Entrepreneurship, Innovation, and Technology Integration in Mining project. Universidad Politécnica de Madrid has warmly hosted the participants of the kick-off meeting. During the 2-days session, we had the opportunity not only to talk about ambitious goals of the project and to share our experience but also to visit impressive heritage buildings, library and museum of UPM School of Mines and Energy.

Finally, Christmas and New Year’s Eve are upon us. It was a very turbulent year for our team. During the first several months our team was able to finally settle at Wrocław University of Science and Technology in a brand new lab in GEO-3EM facility.

“Traditions and Innovations in Mining. GEO3EM project as an incubator for Industry 4.0” was the name of the conference held at the Faculty of Geoengineering, Mining, and Geology on November 22-23, 2019. The event was also connected with the celebrations of the Feast of Saint Barbara, the patron of miners.

This week (November 19 and 20) Wrocław University of Science and Technology hosted the review meeting for the OPMO project. Besides the polish members such as WUST, KGHM, KGHM Cuprum, and AMEPlus, we had the opportunity to host the members from Finland, specifically from Tampere University and Metso.
For the first time, the DMC team had the pleasure to attend The XIX Vibroacoustics and Vibrotechnics Conference (WibroTech 2019) in Zawiercie (Poland).
On Wednesday (October 29
) the class of children from 63 Elementary School in Wrocław visited the Faulty of Geoengineering, Mining, and Geology at Wrocław University of Science and Technology.
